Burger Sauce

  • 7 pickles, finely chopped
  • Pickle juice (splash)

  • 1-2 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp all purpose seasoning

Smash Burger

  • 500g beef mince
  • Pinch salt & pepper
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika / Cajun
  • Pinch of parsley

Cheese Sauce

  • Melted cheese slices
  • Milk

Burger Assemble

  • Brioche bun
  • Burger sauce
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickle

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Slice onion and cook slowly in oil over low heat for 20 mins until caramelized.
  2. Prepare burger sauce by mixing ingredients; better if prepared night before.
  3. Prepare fries: wash and cut potatoes, soak in ice water, flash boil 7 mins till limp, pat dry.
  4. Coat fries in corn flour, seasonings, oil, and airfry at 190°C for 20 mins.
  5. Slice burger buns and toast with butter/mayo.
  6. Spread burger sauce on bottom buns.
  7. Season beef mince, shape into golf-ball-sized meatballs.
  8. On very hot pan, smash meatballs and cook 5-7 mins; flip and add cheese slices, cover to melt cheese.
  9. Assemble burgers: bun, sauce, salad, caramelized onions, burger patty, extra sauce, top bun.
  10. Melt cheese with milk to make cheese sauce for fries. Pour over fries with onions and salad.
  11. Serve hot!
